My Story
Hello!
Thank for stopping by on my birthday fundraising page and reading about the important work Seed Madagascar is delivering. I would be really grateful for any donations big or small.
Over 1 million people in the South of Madagascar are experiencing famine due to consecutive years without rain as well as locust swarms devastating crops. This situation has been compounded by the economic impact of Covid-19 resulting in a near closure of the tourism sector which provides an important source of income for many households. A small UK charity, Seed Madagascar has responded to provide humanitarian intervention due to the severity of the situation despite having a primary focus on Sustainable Development programmes in the country.
Your donation will help deliver food packages to families in the region and will allow many young children to overcome and avoid severe and moderate malnutrition. Seed recently hosted an online event updating on the progress of their food distribution that you can watch here - https://youtu.be/8jk2n3YNeh4
Thank you,
Kevin
